Maximum loan amount
- Loan amounts are subject to the maximum unsecured lending limits per customer segment
- Take over loans are based on affordability and require a Standard Bank Namibia transactional account with at least 1 salary payment electronically credited
- Repayment calculation
- Repayments are calculated over 60 months
- Interest rate
- Maximum rate as prescribed by the Usury Act
Loan term
- Initial term of 60 months
- Redrawing funds up to the approved limit resets the term back to 60 months

How to get it
- Visit your nearest Standard Bank branch with the following documents:
- Valid Namibian identification document
- Proof of latest income
- Proof of residence (e.g. electricity or telephone account)
- If not in your name, a confirmation letter from the account holder is required
- Last six months’ bank statements for the account into which salary is paid
- Clean bank record with consistent salary credits
