Standard Bank Namibia Signs Strategic Agreement with City of Windhoek to Deliver Value-Driven Financial Solutions
Standard Bank Namibia today signed of a landmark strategic financial services agreement with the City of Windhoek, reinforcing its commitment to building strong partnerships and delivering innovative solutions that improve the financial wellbeing of Namibians.
The agreement will provide City of Windhoek employees with exclusive access to tailored financial products and services designed to support their long-term financial health. These include Financial Fitness Academy sessions to promote financial literacy and long-term financial wellbeing, home loan solutions at preferential terms, vehicle and asset finance (VAF) with competitive rates and flexible options, and personal loan concessions with streamlined processing.
This initiative reflects Standard Bank Namibia’s ability to deliver coordinated, impactful solutions across multiple business units, including Employee Value Banking (EVB), Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), and the Windhoek Branch.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Josephine Theodore, Acting Head of HR at the City of Windhoek: “This agreement with Standard Bank is a direct reflection of our commitment to improving the lives of our employees. The signing ceremony took place at Standard Bank Namibia Head Office in Windhoek and marks a significant step in expanding the Bank’s public-sector footprint.
