Standard Bank Biomass Fair 2026 Heads to Otjiwarongo Powering Namibia's Bioeconomy

Now regarded as the country's leading biomass industry platform, the fair serves as a catalyst for collaboration, innovation and investment across Namibia's rapidly growing bioeconomy. The event will showcase how sustainable biomass utilisation can contribute to restoring productive agricultural land, creating jobs, supporting small and medium enterprises, enhancing energy security and unlocking new export opportunities.

Namibia continues to face significant challenges related to bush encroachment, which affects agricultural productivity and grazing capacity across large areas of farmland.
