Standard Bank Namibia awarded cash prizes worth N$280 000 to 84 top performing Grade 10 and 12 learners including 28 best schools countrywide at a prize-giving ceremony held in Windhoek yesterday (4 February 2015).

Standard Bank Namibia recently signed the Wages and Benefits Agreement with the Bank Workers Union of Namibia (BAWON) putting into effect a 6.5 percent increase for the bank’s effective as from the 1st of March 2014.

With effect from 31st of March 2015, Standard Bank Namibia customers will no longer pay a fee when depositing money into their accounts.
Standard Bank Namibia Holdings (SBNH) produced a satisfactory performance for 2014, increasing profit before tax by 23%, profit after tax by 13% and loans and advances by 19%.
